Puppy Play date

While Honey has mastered not being distracted by cats, squirrels, horses, donkeys, cattle, birds, geese, chipmunks, deer and children (ok, I know the first 10 or so were animals and then I snuck in children!), sometimes I feel a little guilty that Honey does not have any dog playmates. This is where good friends come in. We invited our friends and their dogs to dinner and the result was this....

2 well behaved dogs

Add 1 Honey

Wonder if I should have set the camera to 'sport' mode
Spend much time laughing
Get dogs settled, enjoy dinner with friends and photograph dogs looking sad their time together has come to an end

Honey at the Farm

Scotty brought Honey to the farm again and each visit brings some new (and repeat) exposures for Honey.

Watching cattle graze in the field

Playing with Lad

Playing with Harley

Watching Lad and Harley
Posing in the fields
(please do not ask me what is sown in the field - Scotty is the one raised on the farm, I just visit!)

Honey and the Boy Scouts

Today Honey went hiking with the Boy Scouts , well not really with them, she was actually behind them on the trail. Odd thing is that Honey was not distracted by the boys but the boys were distracted by Honey!
Along the way Honey was exposed to countless wildlife (and their droppings!).

Not sure who had more fun that day - the Boys Scouts, Honey or my husband and Amy.

Honey and the Harlem Globetrotters

Our puppy meeting was at the Harlem Globetrotters Game - on the court seats! This was also the day we first met Clifford (Miss Faye's pup). Clifford is being raised by our AC, Becky Dan.

Becky and Clifford
My family arrived early and were lucky to secure a great parking spot.
We practiced crossing the streets along Nashville's busy roads.

The boys and Honey waited patiently to meet the Harlem Globetrotters before the game!
Honey does not seem thrilled to meet a Harlem Globetrotter

Clifford and Moose relaxed during the game

Honey started the evening uber-excited

relaxed when she eventually realized we would not let her go on court to get a basketball
and finally, just hung out hopeful someone would drop some popcorn.

There were so many distractions - bouncing balls, overhead announcements, lots of popcorn on the floor, high level activity, stands full of people and (too) loud music. A LOT of fun was had by puppies and their raisers!

My birthday

Honey helped to celebrate my birthday by posing so pretty for this picture. Be sure to note the birthday hat on the right. It has been family tradition to wear this hat and I hope Honey will cooperate and have her picture taken wearing it in August.
